More than 3,000 people from the different towns and cities in Pangasinan trooped Sunday(29 june) to the Urdaneta Cultural and Sports Center in Urdaneta City to watch the 12-round scheduled fight of Filipino boxing icon, Manny Pacquiao, against WBC lightweight champion David Diaz via large screens. SHOOTFEST:Police Chief Supt. Leopoldo Bataoil, Police Regional Office 1(PRO1) director, led in the ceremonial firing at the opening of the four-day 1^st Regional Director’s CUP 2007 Shoot for a Cause last July 5, 2007 at the firing range of the Pangasinan PNP headquarters in Lingayen, Pangasinan. The level 2 IPSC Match is hosted by the PRO1 and assisted by the Pangasinan Shooters Association,Inc.(PSAI) and Star Shooter of La Union. Victor Agbayani Cup shooting competition early this month(March 2006) at the renovated Pangasinan PNP Firing Range in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
